Outdoor education, first aid and off-site visits

It is well recognised that residential and adventurous activities contribute towards a successful school’s curriculum and the opportunity to take part greatly enhances a child’s success at school and in later life.

Our outdoor education service assists schools and settings to manage their responsibilities, and those of the LA, for the health, safety and wellbeing of children and young people when engaged in off-site visits and activities.

In addition our Dartmoor Centres have many years’ experience designing and providing leadership training, CPD events and first aid courses for teachers, leaders and volunteers who work in schools, youth groups and outdoor learning.
