We provide specialist support to help improve outcomes for disadvantaged and vulnerable learners.

We support children and young people with full statements of SEND or EHCPs through to minority groups, disadvantaged learners and those who may need to 'catch up'.

Our bespoke services help schools and settings to identify and address individual pupil’s learning needs effectively and identify priority areas for development. We provide practical support, training and targeted strategies across all key stages of education.

Attendance improvement

Working within government guidance, legislation and DCC policy the attendance improvement team supports schools in achieving higher level of attendance.

Communication and interaction

We offer support, advice and guidance for children and young people where autism and/or speech, language and communication needs (SLCN) is the primary need.

Ethnic minority and Traveller support

We provide expert advice, guidance and training to help raise attainment and close the performance gap for CYP from BME and Traveller heritages.

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and we help to keep children safe by providing guidance, support and training to schools, settings and colleagues.

Sensory and physical

We offer support, advice and interventions for CYP from 0-25, where a visual, hearing, multi-sensory or physical impairment impacts upon access to education.

SEND strategic leadership support

We provide bespoke support, advice and development, including the SENCo NPQ to schools, colleges, SEND organisations, employers and training providers.
