Schools have huge potential when it comes to climate action, but it might sometimes feel like the only ways to really make a difference involve spending lots of money.
Will Ewens is a Climate Action Advisor at Let’s Go Zero, who works with schools in the South West to help them to find ways to reduce emissions, improve nature and biodiversity on school sites, as well as save money. In this session Will will explore the no- and low-cost climate actions that schools can take, to help reduce emissions and costs.

We will explain, the changes to early years funding for children from 9 months, about the capital funding available for expanding nursery places and the revenue funding to set up before and after school provision. We will share with you the latest policy changes, opportunities that can be taken by schools and the reasons why doing nothing is not an option.
