The MIX music festival 2024 - Friday 5 July (schools only)

We are SO excited that The Mix, our music festival for children and young people, is returning in 2024!

Taking place over two days at Bridwell Park, admission on Friday 5 July will be exclusively reserved for school groups, with Saturday 6 July open to families and the general public.

On Friday, you can look forward to a wealth of live music performances and interactive workshops, guaranteed to enthuse and inspire children and young people (and those that work with them!) about music, performance and creativity – this year’s line-up will include…

• Ceilidh with Wren Music
• Samba with Sonopera
• Djembe with Drum Devon
• Bhangra with RSVP Bhangra
• DJing and music production with Sound Communities
• Taiko with Taiko South West
• Street Band with The Little Big Horns
• Instrumental workshops with The Salamanca Band and Bugles of The Rifles

We will also have loads of fantastic live music performances by schools from across Devon; music and storytelling with Tiny Travels and Devon School Library Service; and much, much more.
