Supporting mentally healthy schools conference: Through belonging and engagement

{{ category }}

This conference will provide space and time to reflect on what a mentally healthy school feels like for staff and children.

Through keynotes, whole group workshops and dedicated networking time, we will;

  • develop your understanding of Emotionally Based School Non-attendance, consider what a welcoming school environment looks and feels like,
  • consider how you support your own well-being and self-care,
  • meet a range of practitioners offering interventions in schools locally
  • explore best practice locally so that you go away nourished, inspired with tangible ideas to help support children and young people who are in distress and struggling to attend school.

We will provide a protected personal and professional development day away from the pressure of the school environment for you to consider how to ensure yourselves, your colleagues and the children and young people in your school feel safe, cared for, connected, trusted and valued, respected and accepted and that they experience meaningfulness, empathy and compassion from each other.
