KS2 statutory assessment training for year 6

This event is designed for any Y6 teacher to support with understanding statutory assessment requirements and considering appropriate curriculum approaches to prepare.  This course is particularly appropriate for teachers new to Y6 or those returning to Y6 after a break.  However, many experienced Y6 teachers would also find the day useful as it explores curriculum approaches and strategies as well as the statutory assessment requirements and provides opportunities for sharing practice and accessing peer to peer support.

The cost to attend is £82.50 per person.

Training objectives

    This course will cover:

    • Changes to statutory requirements
    • Summary of key expectations in relation to SATs administration and statutory teacher assessment 
    • Subject specific guidance and support in Maths and English
