How I came to be working at The Dartmoor Centres

I became an outdoor instructor in 2005 after enjoying lots of adventurous activities most of my life. After spending several years living and working in Snowdonia and the Alps, I moved back to Devon and started working at the Dartmoor Centres. I was attracted by the amazing locations of the centres and activity venues. I still spend much of my spare time hill walking, climbing, mountaineering, surfing, biking, skiing and sailing!

My favourite thing about Dartmoor

I love exploring the hidden spots on the upper river Dart, especially for getting away from the crowds in late summer and doing a bit of wild swimming and wildlife watching.

What makes me happy

Exploring the mountains, moors, coast and ocean, with good friends and a quality cafe stop!
