The Devon Education Services English and Maths teams are again providing an offer of support to all schools for 2024/5.
The core theme of this offer is addressing the significant gaps in KS2 attainment in Devon, particularly for under-resourced/disadvantaged pupils. To launch this focus for 2024/5, across Devon, we are delighted to announce that we will be hosting a half-day event on:
9 October 2024 09:30 – 13:00 at Sandy Park, Exeter
Equity in Education with Lee Elliot-Major
We hope that every school will be represented at this event where we will all make a commitment to support positive change for under-resourced pupils. Through DCC funding, we are pleased to offer this event to Devon schools at a subsidised price of just £30 per person (£100 per person for schools outside of Devon).
Some programmes in our offer are heavily subsidised for targeted support schools, who will have received this offer separately. All elements of the offer can be booked via the shop. For most of the offer, places for Devon maintained schools are subsidised and all elements are open to any school (subject to demand).
A table detailing each element of the offer is available here with links to the shop. We have also included the Y6 and Y2 Assessment offer for 24/25 within the table to support leaders with seeing all opportunities in one place.
We would like to take this opportunity to remind you of our continuing termly Maths and English Subject Leader Meetings, packages for which you can purchase through the shop; we have included these in the offer.
