Reading fluency projects - Y2-Y6 and Y5-Y8

Targeted schools can book onto the project at the significantly subsidised rate of £100 per school.

Devon maintained schools can book onto the project at the subsidised rate of £470 per school.

All other schools will be charged £700 per school.

Based on the work of HfL and our own experience we are offering further opportunities to participate in this evidence-based, teacher led, eight week group intervention. Impact is achieved in both fluency and comprehension. Evidence from previous projects has shown consistently impressive outcomes (in Y6 average improvement of 12 months+).  The training will be delivered by HfL experts alongside the DES English team.  In addition to equipping teachers to deliver a structured intervention, teachers will also be able to explore wider uses of the strategies learnt.
