Supporting Transition from Primary to Secondary for Autistic Students - Online

{{ category }}

This module will focus on the needs of autistic students through the transition journey from primary to secondary settings. It is also highly relevant for all learners with identified Communication & Interaction needs.

It will provide delegates with an understanding of how autistic students may experience transition, potential barriers and concerns, and what supporting staff can do to support.

Delegates will be encouraged to reflect on their own practice to date, to promote positive developments for provision.

This event is highly relevant for both Primary (host setting) and Secondary (receiving setting) staff, with a partnership approach (Secondarys and their feeder schools) to attendance for identified cohorts of CYP and supporting staff highly recommended.
