Personal Education Plan (PEP) conference

{{ category }}

Join us for the 2025 Personal Education Plan (PEP) Conference — a dynamic, full-day event dedicated to enhancing the educational journeys of children and young people through effective planning, collaboration, and innovation.

This year’s conference brings together educators, social workers, virtual school teams, and care professionals from across the Devon to explore best practices, share insights, and develop strategies that make a real difference in the lives of young people in care.

We are thrilled to welcome Mary-Ann Hodd back to Devon as our keynote speaker. A passionate advocate for inclusive education and care-experienced learners, Mary-Ann brings a powerful blend of lived experience and professional expertise. Her keynote will inspire and challenge us to rethink how we support young people through their PEPs and beyond.

In addition to the keynote, the conference will feature a series of interactive workshops and breakout sessions led by experienced practitioners and thought leaders. Topics will include:

  • Voice of the child - from both college and school DTs
  • PEP's and EY
  • Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire
  • PEP Lite for Previously looked after children, Children in Need and Child protection
  • How to use ePEP/ What makes an effective PEP?

Attendees will have the opportunity to tailor their experience by selecting sessions most relevant to their roles and interests.
