Putting the education programme into practice during the summer term

This training will explore the educational programme for Understanding the World in the updated EYFS and share ideas for putting this into practice in the summer term.  This will focus on building children’s knowledge and sense of their outdoor environment, growing and caring for plants, as well as developing understanding and respect for the natural environment in an ecologically diverse world.

This training will explore the educational programme for Understanding the World in the updated EYFS and share ideas for putting this into practice in the autumn term.  This will focus on developing children’s knowledge of people and communities, building awareness and respect of diversity and difference, as well as providing experiences of maps, routes and environments.
