SaFest 2026

SaFest: Annual Online Safeguarding Festival

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, three of our four SaFest organising team members are unavailable next week. This means we’ve had to make the very difficult decision to reschedule SaFest this year.

We’re truly sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. We know how much planning and anticipation has gone into this, and we share your disappointment. Our priority is to ensure SaFest runs to the high standard you expect and deserve.

The good news is that SaFest will now take place during the week of 9th–13th February.

SaFest is an annual online safeguarding festival dedicated to fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing among professionals from a diverse range of sectors. This unique event brings together experts from Social Work, Police, Youth Justice, Child Exploitation teams, Domestic Abuse services, Education, and many more, creating a vibrant platform for interdisciplinary learning and support.

Key Features of SaFest:

  1. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: SaFest encourages professionals from various fields to come together, share their expertise, and learn from one another. This collaborative approach ensures a holistic understanding of safeguarding issues and promotes the development of comprehensive strategies to protect children.

  2. Skill Enhancement: Through a series of workshops, seminars, and interactive sessions, participants have the opportunity to upskill and stay updated with the latest safeguarding practices. These sessions are designed to be practical and relevant, providing attendees with tools and techniques they can apply in their daily work.
