The Early Years Quality and Inclusion Partners (EYQIP) are all qualified teachers and experienced EYFS specialists with a range of knowledge across the EYFS curriculum, and an understanding of the pedagogical approaches of early years teaching and learning. They can support your school and governor-run settings to develop effective EYFS provision through high quality consultancy, training and professional development services, and enable schools to consider current thinking and creative approaches to meeting the needs of all children.
Wraparound childcare is before and after school care for primary school aged children during term time, such as regular afterschool provision that runs until at least 5.30pm or later. The childcare should be available every school day outside of regular school hours and is aimed at helping parents access more childcare, and to work or attend training for the hours they want to.
The team also undertake the role of Area SENDCo to support SENDCos who are based in private, voluntary and independent settings and in preschool provision run by schools, including maintained nurseries, in Devon.
