Natalie Townsend

Natalie brings a strong blend of SEND expertise and safeguarding leadership to the team. She previously worked as a SENCO, Assistant Headteacher, and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, where she led safeguarding reviews and delivered high‑quality training across a large Multi‑Academy Trust.

Natalie has also served as an EHCP Partner for Devon, giving her a detailed understanding of statutory SEND processes and the multi‑agency landscape. This experience enables her to support schools with clear, practical guidance that strengthens provision and improves outcomes for children with additional needs.

With a background spanning both strategic leadership and frontline practice, Natalie is skilled at working collaboratively with schools, families, and professionals. She is passionate about safeguarding and committed to helping education settings build confident, child‑centred cultures where every learner can thrive.
