Asbestos operational awareness (online)

The content covers the significance of asbestos as a health hazard, which people are at risk with examples of how they may be put at risk. There is also a brief overview of the legislation in place to protect employees.

The ASB1 Permit to Work is examined and how it can be put into practice before work takes place.

Audience: Those people who have roles at an operational level such as those carrying out day-to-day tasks in buildings containing asbestos or those who will be escorting contractors on site, such as Caretakers and Administrators.

Mandatory course within Devon County Council with a mandatory refresher period of 3 years.
