KS2 statutory assessment training: teachers new to or returning to year 6

This event is designed for teachers new to Y6 or returning to Y6 after a break.  The focus will be understanding statutory assessment requirements and guidance on delivering SATs and undertaking the statutory expectations for writing teacher assessment. This course is essential for any teacher new to Y6 and is supplemented by the Y6 Reading, Mathematics and Writing subject specific assessment training 2026/7.

Cost: £100 per person.

    This course will cover:

    • Statutory assessment requirements for 2026/7
    • Detailed guidance on key expectations in relation to SATs administration and statutory teacher assessment
    • Opportunity to consider the shape of the Y6 curriculum
