Responsibilities of the safeguarding lead (online)

This explains the importance of implementing and maintaining appropriate safeguarding practice in schools and helps to ensure they are not simply aware of the school's practices, but can be actively involved in making sure they work. 

This course is only suitable for governors/trustees with responsibility for championing safeguarding and aims to assist them in recognising the role they play in the safeguarding of children and young people.
