Attachment Based Beginnings

{{ category }}

This course is part of a new Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) project designed to support children in care in pre-reception. This project has emerged in response to the general level of development observed in children in care (CIC).

Every participating setting will be invited to attend 1 day of free training titled Attachment-Based Beginnings (ABB). Ideally, a key worker/teacher and a nursery lead/senior leader will attend the day.

In addition, participating schools will be offered;

  • An implementation meeting and ongoing supervision, designed to support key workers/teachers working directly with CIC children (an EP will contact you about this soon).

Participating settings will also gain access to online resources that you are able to share across your setting.

Please ensure that you have logged into your DES shop account before attempting to book any places on this course. If you do not already have an account, you will need to register. Once you have registered, you will then need to click on the web page link in your invite email to return to this page.
