Parent engagement: a governance perspective (online)

A course for governors, trustees, clerks and senior leaders in all education settings. 

This course looks closely at how settings can engage with parents and carers to maximise the positive impact on children and pupils.  The course considers why engagement is so important and how it can improve outcomes for young people and schools.  Within the course we look at a number of successful case studies and consider different strategies that boards can look to introduce within their school(s). 

Finally, we consider the role of governors and trustees in parent engagement, measuring impact and assessing what works and doesn’t work within the context of your school(s).
