Devon Attendance Network (online)

2026 sees the launch of the Devon Attendance Network!

Following the success of our first network meeting we return with our combination of updates, best practice and training.

A reminder that our strategy in Devon focusses on supporting engagement with schools and settings by:

• Preventing patterns of absence from developing by promoting good engagement with education.
• Intervening early by using data to spot patterns of absence before they become persistent and working with families to remove the barriers to engaging with education. 
• Targeting support for persistent and severe absentees with all local partners working together to re-engage children and young people.

The Devon Attendance Network is a half termly opportunity for the attendance people of Devon to be together, share practice and learn. Our network session takes place via Microsoft Teams.
