Y2 Writing Standardisation and moderation sessions

N.B. All of the online standardisation sessions have already taken place but it is still possible for you to book onto the 2 remaining face to face peer standardisation/moderation sessions. We can send you some information which would give you a basic overview of what was covered during session 1.

This sequence of events are designed to support Y2 teachers with end of key stage writing assessment.  There will be 3 x Y2 writing standardisation and peer moderation sessions which includes: 

• 1 x online standardisation session focused on EXS standard
• 2 x face to face peer standardisation/moderation sessions: one focused on GDS, one on all standards

Session 1: Online standardisation session - a choice of 3 dates:

• Wednesday 6th December 2023
• Wednesday 13th December 2023
• Thursday 14th December 2023

All online sessions: 16:00 - 17:30pm.

Sessions 2 and 3: Face to face peer standardisation/moderation sessions - 3 venues to choose from:

• Caddsdown Business Support Centre, Bideford
• Westbank Community Health and Care, Exminster
• Buckfast Abbey Conference Centre, Buckfastleigh

Sessions 2 & 3: 13:15 - 16:15pm.

Please note, you are able to book onto any of the 3 online standardisation sessions and your preferred venue for sessions 2 and 3.
