IOSH Working safely (in person)

To provide a first-level qualification in health and safety that’s designed to improve the safety culture within the organisation.  It focuses on how individual actions contribute to health and safety in the workplace and provides an understanding of an individual's responsibility. The course covers an introduction to working safely, defining hazards and risk, identifying common hazards, and improving safety performance.

Please note - on successful completion of this course, you will be forwarded a certificate through the post.

Lunch will be provided, however, please bring your own drinks etc, for throughout the course or please purchase these from onsite vending machines.

Audience: Employees from any service without managerial or supervisory responsibilities. Ideal for site, cleaning, or caretaking staff as well as catering staff where these are employed by the service.

This accredited course will replace the Caretaking & Cleaning course offered in previous years. While the IOSH Managing / Working Safely Certification does not technically expire, IOSH recommends that learners undertake the Refresher course every three years.

This course includes a written assessment.
