Senior managers’ premises overview (online)

This course is specifically for school senior leaders and service senior managers who hold an overall responsibility for service managed premises, even if they may not be directly operationally involved in these matters. This is a 3-hour course with a 15-minute break.  It starts with an overview of health and safety management arrangements before moving onto an overview of health and safety requirements relating to premises, including asbestos, water hygiene and fire safety. Managers and leaders who hold the specific duty to manage for these subject areas are directed to the full respective duty to manage training.

Mandatory course within Devon County Council with a mandatory refresher period of 5 years.
