Early Years and Childcare: Safeguarding and Inclusion Forums (SIFs)

Safeguarding and Inclusion Forums (SIFs) are designed for Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs), which includes childminders, and SENDCOs.

These forums provide up-to-date information, knowledge, and practical guidance on safeguarding, SEND, vulnerability, and emerging early years priorities. With a strong locality focus, SIFs offer opportunities to explore local issues, share expertise, and learn from current best practice. Led by Early Years Sufficiency Welfare Advisers (EYSWAs) Early Years Quality and Inclusion Partners (EYQIPs), they also provide valuable networking opportunities to discuss challenges, developments, and effective approaches with colleagues across your area.
