Asbestos duty to manage (online)

The content covers the significance of asbestos as a health hazard and which people are at risk with examples of how they are put at risk. Legislation is heavily considered and how it drives management strategy for asbestos with what the HSE would expect to see should they visit your site.

The managerial controls available to the Duty Holder and to those on-site and in charge of the premises are examined using the Asbestos Management Plan, the Asbestos Register, the ASB1 Permit to Work and associated documents.

Audience: Those people who have responsibility for managing asbestos on their site. This is usually the person named on the Asbestos Management Plan, such as Business Managers and Head Teachers.

Mandatory course within Devon County Council with a mandatory refresher period of 3 years.
