Early Years and Childcare: Playtime training

{{ category }}

A 3 hour training session endorsed by Play England. The training is delivered virtually.

The aim of the course is to develop an understanding of the role of an adult in creating supportive environments for children’s freely chosen play opportunities.

Participants will be given the opportunity to participate in activities which will underpin this knowledge and how this can then be transferred into their own settings.

Learners will have a Learner Notebook with all relevant information. Learners will also need to complete a multi-choice question paper following the taught session. You must complete the question paper in order to receive a certificate of attendance. Certificates will be issued on completion of the course.

This training is for practitioners working in settings funded by the wraparound childcare programme, or HAF funded settings and early years and childcare settings which provide out of school clubs.
