Supporting mentally healthy schools conference: Safe. Included. Heard

{{ category }}

Safe. Included. Heard. supports education professionals from Early Years through to Further Education to explore how schools, settings and colleges can create cultures where every child and young person feels safe, respected and valued.

Against a backdrop of growing concerns around violence against women and girls, misogyny, racism, discrimination and online harms, this conference will examine the critical role education plays in shaping inclusive communities and positive futures.

Through keynote presentations, expert insights and youth voice, delegates will consider;

  • practical approaches to promoting belonging
  • challenging harmful attitudes
  • supporting mental health
  • improving engagement with learning.

The programme will explore the links between wellbeing, attendance, attainment and inclusion, alongside opportunities to learn more about Devon's support systems, reporting pathways and interventions. Delegates will leave with evidence-informed strategies to strengthen safety, inclusion and belonging across their educational communities.
