Effective governance for school leaders (A) (online)

This online session is for school leaders in any education setting (maintained or academy) who have a role to play in the governance of the setting. It provides a brief refresher on the role of school governance, and considers the role of the board and the contribution of the school leader in enabling and supporting strategic governance. Concentrating on the development of strong relationships and strategic board behaviours, we will look more closely at the way appropriate challenge works in a school governance setting.  There will be an opportunity to network with other school leaders.  The session is designed to be beneficial to school leaders in all governance models (maintained stand alone, federations, academy trust board, academy local/hub/committees).
