The role of the local tier of governance in a MAT (online)

This short lunchtime session is for those governing within a MAT at either trust board or local board level. It is also suitable for other board members who are considering joining a MAT, as it will provide a framework with which to measure successful local governance of any prospective trust.  The session will consider the role of local boards, or the local tier, within a MAT. What good local governance looks like and the benefits that it can bring to strengthen an entire trust.  The course will also consider different structures for expanding trusts and look at the DfE current guidance in terms of best practice.  Current updates following the White Paper will be included.
