Contextual safeguarding - adolescent safety framework (ASF): online course for Devon education settings

This free level 2 training is designed for staff working in education settings across Devon. This training looks at contextual safeguarding and Devon’s response to contextual risk – the adolescent safety framework.

This training has been designed to help colleagues in education settings to gain greater knowledge and understanding around contextual risk that some of our children and young people may face. It also looks at the adolescent safety framework in Devon and the pathway into children social care if schools have concerns regarding contextual risk.

The training explores the safer me assessment and how this can be used to manage individual risk, peer context concerns, neighbourhood context concerns and school contextual concerns and how schools fit into this wider multiagency work.

The training is suitable for all staff across education settings in Devon (primary, secondary and post 16).
